Jack and Matthew really wanted to go swimming this morning so after breakfast I took them to the pool while Brad checked out and packed up the car. We had another long car ride ahead of us, so we wanted them to have some fun before getting in the car once again. Last year we were in Minnesota for Jay and Abby's wedding and one of the things the boys couldn't stop talking about was the Mall of America. We decided to make it one of our stops on this trip. There are miles and miles of corn fields between Sioux Falls and Bloomington and not much else. Jack was a little bit cranky during the car ride, but Matthew was fine. Jack snapped out of his gloom after I gave him the camera so he could take pictures. Our hotel is right across the street from the Mall of America, so after we checked in, we headed across the street to eat dinner and check out the amusement park. We will be spending most of the day there tomorrow before we get in the car for the drive to Green Bay, Wisconsin. Matthew is excited to go on the rides and Jack wants to find some "cool clothes" for school. That boy is growing up way too fast. I certainly didn't care about fashion at his age.
